Our Emplas Fire Stop Doors provide homeowners with an extra level of reassurance without compromising on design. These 30-minute fire doors are built using DoorCo composite door slabs approved under the Winkhaus FireFrame® doorset scheme.
Every doorset is tested to BS EN 1634-1 fire resistance standards, achieving a 30-minute fire rating and excellent smoke control performance. The result is a door designed to slow the spread of fire and smoke while remaining strong, secure and visually appealing.

Inside every door you’ll find:
• Engineered hardwood subframe: Provides strength and stability while allowing the door to be trimmed to size.
• LVL laminated veneered lumber: Adds structural reinforcement, especially for wider door designs.
• Fire-resistant phenolic foam core: A dense insulating foam that slows heat transfer and improves overall insulation.
• GRP outer skins: Glass-reinforced skins that sit on the outside of the door.

Winkhaus AV2 & AV2-E locking systems
Security is just as important as fire protection. That’s why our fire stop doors use Winkhaus AV2 and AV2-E automatic locking systems.
A multi-point locking system means the door locks in several places along the frame instead of a single point. When the door closes, the autoLock system automatically engages three locking positions which helps hold the door tightly against the frame.
