Do you need building regs to change a conservatory roof?

Building regulations are standards that must be followed to ensure the development is safe. So, due to the increased load on the existing structure, building regs are required for solid conservatory roof replacements. As founding members of the DGCOS, we will provide a compliance certificate to show that every aspect of the installation complies with current Building Regulations.

Can you replace a conservatory roof yourself?

Unless you know exactly what you're doing, it is not advisable to remove and fit new conservatory roof panels yourself. To avoid injury and further costs to remedy errors, we always recommend using a professional conservatory roof replacement company to carry out any work.
